The origin of GERnétic

GERnétic International products are the result of a long process of research carried out during the whole of his career by Doctor Albert Laporte, a pioneer in the field of cellular anti-ageing and founder of Laboratoires GERnétic Synthèse, through the study of biology (study of life) at cellular level and of gerontology (study of the ageing process).

It all began in the Hôpitaux de Paris in the 1960s, period during which Dr. Albert Laporte began his research studies on the use of the concept of cellular therapy, in the formulation of topical treatments in order to relieve the suffering of patients and to improve the state and the appearance of their very damaged skin.

Later on, Dr. Albert Laporte took this innovative concept and developed it in the world of beauty. His aim was to create a range of highly rich, and particularly efficient concentrated products.

He conceptualized his theory on the ability of the body to restore health and harmony when the cells receive rightly measured out essential active nutritional molecules. His studies concluded that numerous skin complaints resulted from deficiencies at cellular level.

A pioneer in the formulation of dermocosmetics, he then drew the conclusion that it was important to add the missing nutrients to these formulas.

The global approach consists in providing, in optimal dose, a combination of essential and nutritional molecules in order to assist the skin in its regeneration process so that it can repair itself, get relief from its problems and slow down the appearance of visible signs of ageing.

Method

The skin is the largest organ of the body. It is far more that an envelope which retains all the elements of the body. It is alive, structured and complex thanks to its network of specialized cells which are in constant evolution.

The skin protects us from all sorts of negative environmental influences such as microbes, pollution, chemicals, the sun and prevents the dehydration of subcutaneous tissues.
